Poetry International is committed to inspiring new generations of poetry readers and to helping teachers address and engage with contemporary poetry. Each issue of Poetry International offers voices from many cultures, in poems both written in and translated into English.  Each issue of Poetry International also offers multiple styles and genres of poetry for the instructor to use.

Available now as free downloads are lesson plans centered in our most recent issue, Poetry International #17. These lesson plans are geared towards high school, advanced undergraduate or graduate level courses.  Also available is a teaching resources inventory of various poetic devices used by the writers in this issue.
