Submission Guidelines

Poetry International seeks a wide range of styles and subject matter and is particularly interested in translations.

We read unsolicited manuscripts only between September 1st and December 31st of each year. Manuscripts received during any other period will be returned unread. Please send no more than five poems at that time to:

Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope for our response. Manuscripts will not be returned.

No poems or translations previously published in English will be accepted.

No e-mail or fax submissions please. 

Query first for prose submissions.

We will consider (but do not prefer) simultaneous submissions. Time between acceptance and publication is 6-8 months.  Pays 1 copy.
